The article features an overview of a slightly known Bengali manuscript of "Vidya-Sundara", second part of Annadamangal by Bharatchandra Ray, the great Bengali poet of the 18th century. The manuscript was drawn up by Gerasim Lebedev (1749-1817), Russian adventurer, musician, writer and researcher during his time in Kolkata, India. Being one of the oldest existing manuscripts of "Vidya-Sundara" (composed before 1797) it may contain some portions unknown so far for the researchers. This is, however, to be proven once the comparison with other manuscripts is done.
