Abstract

This article has both a linguistic and an educational aim. It demonstrates how linguistic analysis can be done in a consistent and systematic way by discussing the Bangla case system. The article discusses the present and past confusion and disagreement about Bangla cases; it examines a number of definitions and theoretical assumptions and develops a new methodology for approaching grammatical structures.
